Real Bride Spotlight: Victoria

Updated: Mar 13, 2020

Victoria, married her high school sweetheart Joe on November 11, 2017 at the 9 Oaks Farm in Monroe, Georgia. Keep reading for a look into on their beautiful wedding and love story!

Joe and I met in high school. I was best friends with his sister. We got engaged on July 3, 2016 at the end of a boat dock in front of all our family and friends.

Our overall wedding theme was definitely romantic with lots of red roses, white hydrangeas, and navy.

My favorite memory from the wedding day was seeing Joe’s face when I walked down the aisle. We did not do a first look and his face was priceless. It brought everyone to tears and was a moment I will never forget.

My favorite part of my dress was all the lace, long train, and the ability to add sleeves (thanks to the amazing Leslie and the alterations staff).

The staff at Wedding Angels was always very welcoming and very encouraging. Every time I would put on a dress they would always make a compliment and made me feel good about myself in any wedding gown I put on. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted in my wedding gown.

After showing Leslie some pictures and ideas I had, she made my dream gown come true. The gown I was very interested in and purchased did not have sleeves. Leslie was quick to show me how it would look with sleeves. Leslie then ordered more material and lace for the gown and was there for almost all of my alterations appointments so she could explain her vision. I am so glad I had the opportunity to purchase my wedding gown through Wedding Angels. It was definitely an amazing experience and so worth the 2 hour drive for every appointment.
