Pantone Color of the Year

If you're not sure where to start with your wedding vision, start with your color palette. While the trend of the past few years has been shades of nude, blush and grey, we're looking forward to a year with a little something different.

Pantone announced its color of the year for 2018 as Ultraviolet, and it is far from the traditional bridal selection. Could ultra violet be the new nude in 2018? If so, we're ready to embrace it and throw some color onto wedding palettes!

As a primary color in your wedding palette, violet can bring a soft pop with mix and match bridesmaids dresses.

For more subtle incorporation, dress the mother of the bride or groom in an elegant violet dress. And if violet doesn't feel right as a primary color, use it to accent small details in stationery or set the mood on the dance floor with lighting.

What do you think about more shades of purple in weddings?
