1. Bring a Supportive Entourage
You know everyone will have an opinion about what gown looks best on you...Make sure your opinion is heard. Wedding Angels recommends that your entourage have a clear understanding regarding your goal, your bridal style and your budget.
Please note: We are a small boutique and provide private, intimate spaces for each of our brides. It can be difficult to promise comfy seating for more than 5 guests.
2. Buy a Dress that Flatters Now
Buy a dress that makes you feel fabulous now! Wedding gowns can run small so please don't be alarmed if your final size measurement jumps up a number or two. Wedding Angels will measure your bust, waist and hips to ensure the best fit. Ignore the size - it's just number! What matters is how you feel wearing the gown.
3. Trust your Instincts
You know better than anyone what style you're looking for and what features you want to highlight. If you have to be reassured that the dress looks great on you, it's probably not "the one." During your appointment, tell your "Wedding Angel" about your vision and your favorite assets. You'll know when it's the right one! It's going to be an emotional and elating moment (we will have tissues handy).
4. Come Prepared to Dress Up
Bring a pair of heels, a strapless bra and any other undergarments or shape wear you may want. Photos of dresses are always helpful, and it doesn't hurt to have a touch of makeup on and hair done!
