Karin Trexler, ManagerAfter
working in the fashion industry throughout high school and spending all of my part time earnings on clothes, it became clear
that fashion would play a major role in my life. Upon graduating from Indiana U. of Pa. in 1993 with a major in Fashion Merchandising,
I found work in a small bridal boutique in Pittsburgh and my love for bridal began! After moving to Atlanta in 1995, my career
evolved as a manager at Bridals by Lori. After 8 years, I was blessed to be offered another manager position at Wedding Angels,
an adorable bridal boutique in Historic Roswell. I knew from the moment I walked in the door that it was a perfect fit. After
15 years in the industry, I truly prefer the intimate atmosphere of the smaller shop that offers more personalized service.
One of my favorite things to do for my brides is creating custom changes to their gowns so that each dress is as individual
as they are. I love getting to know and befriending my brides while guiding them through this special time in their lives.
Jacquie Westney, OwnerAfter growing up as a “corporate brat”, with many places I’d called home,
I completed high school in Connecticut and went on the University of Vermont. I first majored in biology with intentions
for medical school, but when the reality of wearing scrubs forever set in, I changed my major to marketing and entreprenurship.
After the change, I was able to persue my real passion, spending Mom and Dad’s money on clothes! You must not
ever deny your true talents! I eventually moved to Georgia with my career at Georgia Pacific, and met my now-husband
Jack. I quickly fell in love with the man, and with life in the south, and we married in October of 2006. My dear friend Marisol, the former owner of Wedding Angels, changed my life by introducing
me to the staff at Wedding Angels and helping me design the wedding gown of my dreams. After all the custom work on
my gown, and all the visits to the boutique, Wedding Angels and its staff had earned a special place in my heart. When
Marisol and I were both looking for a change of pace in the spring of 2007, the chance of a lifetime was presented to me.
I left my career in marketing and sales at Georgia Pacific to lead the Wedding Angels team full time. I have never been
happier or more fulfilled. I could not be more proud of our team, nor could I be more honored to have the opportunity
to play a part in such a special time in our brides' lives.
Ali Harrell, Bridal ConsultantGrowing
up in Orlando, Florida I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. So, when
I started as a freshman at The Florida State University, there was no doubt in my mind what my major would be.
I am so fortunate for the education that I was able to receive as a fashion merchandising major, and was even given
the chance to study fashion in Milan, Paris and London. Upon graduating with honors, I accepted a position as
an Assistant Buyer for Macy’s in Atlanta. After being with Macy’s for 2 years, my path ultimately
led me to the one thing I love the most…WEDDINGS! As the newest “Angel,” I feel a sense of
reward everyday by making the dress buying experience for each bride an enjoyable and memorable event.
Shelby Cutlip, Bridal Consultant I began my bridal
career in 1999, working part-time in a Tuxedo shop while still attending school. After 6 years helping men look their
best for their special day, I had enough. I knew that my calling was truly in assisting brides with the gown of their
dreams! I began working at a local bridal boutique named One Enchanted Evening and continued to love every minute of
my new bridal direction while graduating from St. Bonaventure University in N.Y. with a degree in management/marketing.
After graduation, I transferred to Atlanta and joyously accepted a bridal consultant position at Wedding Angels. Being
recently married myself, my job has the added benefit of allowing me to share this special time with my brides.
